Oystein Wika at Flash on the Beach '08

I'm in Brighton for my second time to the Flash on the Beach conference. Staying at the Old Ship Hotel this year as well - the speaker hotel (myHotel) was fully booked when I finally got around to book the trip. I have been hunting the entire town for a working el-adapter this morning, and luckily the stores are open on Sundays in the UK, so I found one at the 99p store.

Did the registration thing early this morning, so I can avoid standing in line tomorrow. I'm not going to any of the Workshops - instead, I'm going to try and get some work done back at the hotel.

Flash on the Beach '08 - SWAG

SWAG Bag

As usual we got a goodie/SWAG bag at registration. This year it contained a t-shirt, the 'Getting Started with Flex 3' book from O'Reilly, FOTB-stickers and some ad-stuff.

It looks like the 'Norwegian delegation' is quite big this year too. We'll try and promote Flash User Group Norway while we are down here. Please come and say hello if you are one of the Norwegians and want to know more about FUGN.

I'm really looking forward to these days in "sunny" Brighton, and hope the conference will be just as good as last year.
