About Øystein Wika
Hi, I'm a UI/UX Designer currently residing in Oslo, Norway. I do most of my work in the field of Rich Internet Applications and Digital Learning Utilities, like this one - developed for The National Tests in Mathematics.
Background
I started my professional life as a musician, which led me into the world of music technology, and eventually towards CG, GUI design and programming. In 1997 I started my own company Wika Media A/S, and a year later I co-founded another small New Media Technology company called Imagevoice. Today, I work as a User Experience Designer at Wika Media, building Digital Learning Utilities for use in the Public Education Sector. One of my recent projects involved creating a set of digital assessment utilities for The National Tests in Mathematics in Norway, which included a complete framework of tools - from serverside management applications to client based assessment interfaces.
